The above chart reflects the total amount of donations and expenditures for each month of the year thru the previous month (August).
It is important to note that the amount shown for the Foundation’s expenditures includes our monetary donation provided monthly to the Hogar de Ninas Hijas de la Altagracia, the orphanage we are currently sponsoring in Bani, Dominican Republic. Our monthly contribution, possible by the donations from our generous donors, helps the staff at the Hogar maintain the desired level of daily nutrition, good health, and decent living conditions for the resident children.
THANK YOU, DONORS, FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT AND GENEROSITY, NOTWITHSTANDING THE CURRENT ECONOMIC CONDITIONS.

Thanks to the generosity of Roberto De Los Santos we were able to obtain a large number of sheets for the Hogar de Ninas Hijas de la Altagracia in Bani, Dominican Republic. Given the quantity, we are sure the religious sisters in charge of the orphanage will distribute them fairly amongst the residents of the Hogar, the three senior citizen centers under their supervision, and their other ministries within the local community. We would also like to thank Martinez Cargo for allowing the use of their premises for the packing of the boxes, and for the generous discount on the shipping fees for the 6 boxes packed.

Mercedes's SUV was packed to the hilt with sheets, even after having removed a large quantity from the trunk...

Elsa & Mercedes packing the boxes, maximizing every bit of available space... They were able to pack a minimum of 75 sheets in each box.

After packing 6 boxes Elsa & Mercedes were ready for a break...

Last July the Hogar de Ninas Hijas de la Altagracia received a donation of 5 computer systems from “Foundation Orange”. Orange is the key brand of France Telecom, one of the world’s leading telecommunications operators. With almost 131 million customers, the Orange brand covers Internet, television and mobile services in the majority of countries where the Group operates, including the Dominican Republic (Orange Dominicana). We welcome the generous contribution of this philanthropic organization, as a testament to the quality of education being provided by the sisters managing the Hogar, and the potential of that equipment to enhance the communication skills of each one of the resident girls, which Foundation Orange considers to be essential for the development of society and individuals. Muchas gracias, Orange!

I tell you, whoever acknowledges me before men, the Son of Man will also acknowledge him before the angels of God. But he who disowns me before men will be disowned before the angels of God.

August is dedicated to the devotion of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The Immaculate Heart is often venerated together with the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Just as the Sacred Heart represents Christ’s love for mankind, the Immaculate Heart represents the Blessed Virgin’s desire to lead all people to Christ.
There is no better example of the Christian life than that offered by Mary. Through our Prayers for August, which help to deepen our devotion to her Immaculate Heart, we can join the Mother of God in drawing closer to Christ.
