3 More Boxes to Bani on Oct 15, 2009

Three more boxes, with a total of 356 lbs, were shipped Oct 15, 2009 to the Hogar de Ninas Hijas de la Altagracia in El Llano, Bani, Dominican Republic. These particular 3 boxes have a special significance in that much of their contents were items actually purchased by Sor Margarita & Sor Isaskia, who were visiting us from Bani. They were able to experience first-hand, the “joy” of shopping in big US Stores like Publix, Sam’s, Sears, and Walmart. Of course, all of this was possible by the generosity of our donors.

Elsa was impressed by how much respect everyone in the public places showed the nuns.

Everybody enjoyed the food, the music provided by Anna & Stine, the camaraderie, and especially the company of Sor Margarita & Sor Isaskia, visiting from the Hogar de Ninas Hijas de la Altagracia in Bani, Dominican Republic.
