Feliz Navidad from the Hogar de Ninas !

Hna. Margarita / Hna. Isaskia

Dear brothers thanks for all your efforts on behalf of the girls, with this you collaborate to make their future life better than the life they’ve had to endure. We take this opportunity to send a simple Christmas card every year we create with pictures of some of the girls, this time we chose Maria de Carmen, whose birthday is the 23rd, and Nieve Luisa who just lost her mother and is very sad, since she was previously orphaned by her living father, now both are gone, but we ask your prayers so we can continue motivating and encouraging her. So a happy Christmas brothers that the presence of the feelings of the Infant Jesus in our hearts fill us with tenderness and hope.

Hugs to everybody.
from the girls and sisters,

Two Additional Boxes Shipped on Dec. 5 and 11

Thanks to the generous donations of cash (used to buy grocery items), clothing, and misc. articles, we were able to fill-up two additional boxes to send to the Hogar de Ninas in El Llano, Bani, Dominican Republic. One box was delivered to the shipping company on Dec. 5, and the other on Dec. 11.  Thank you to all who contributed to this worthy effort, which will make a big difference in the celebration of Christmas for the 27 girls currently residing at the Hogar de Ninas.

5 Boxes to Bani on Dec 1, 2009

Through the generosity of our donors, we were able to fill 5 boxes with food items, gifts, and clothes for shipping to the Hogar de Ninas Hijas de la Altagracia, in El Llano, Bani, Dominican Republic. We are counting on our shipping partner, Martinez Cargo in Orlando, to deliver those boxes by mid December, before Christmas, since their content includes one small plastic box for each of the girls in the Hogar, with small gifts according to their ages.

The food items will also be welcome by the sisters at the Hogar, since they had let us know a few days ago that their food pantry was near empty… We hope the monthly monetary donation we sent on the 1st of December, which was doubled as it’s customary for the Christmas month, will provide the resources for them to purchase whatever food is necessary, while the boxes are in-transit.

ON BEHALF OF THE MEMBERS OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION FOUNDATION AND THE RESIDENTS AND STAFF OF THE HOGAR DE NINAS HIJAS DE LA ALTAGRACIA, MANY MANY THANKS TO ALL WHO CONTRIBUTED TO THIS EFFORT, EITHER THROUGH THEIR MONETARY CONTRIBUTIONS, OR THROUGH THEIR INVESTMENT OF PERSONAL TIME AND RESOURCES. GOD BLESS YOU ALL !
